Once you watch you will know what the acronym MVP was for.
Who watched Survivor's Remorse last night? If you did then you already know it is the funniest new show in the last few years on cable. If you did not then you need to catch up. The show airs on Saturday night on the Starz network is based on the story on the story of Cam Calloway and his cousin/manager Reggie. Cam is an undrafted free agent in the NBA who plays so well he signs a maximum deal for the next season and moves to Atlanta with his entire family. The fact that Lebron James is the Executive Producer of the series helps give it a lot of credibility as the family deals with the pressure of superstardom, money, and the guilt of succeeding.
It's a good thing I DVR'd the episode from last night "The MVP" because I laughed so much that I had to rewind repeatedly because of the comedic genius of Mike Epps and Tichina Arnold who played Pam on the Martin Lawerence's "Martin". Epss character Uncle Julius drops perfect lines just about every five minutes and last night's episode was no different. "The MVP" might have topped last season's favorite, "How To Build A Brand" in terms of laughs. Be forewarned the show is rated MA because of strong language and occassional nudity. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Let Me Touch You.
I have always believed that clothing should make you want to touch it. It should draw you in and seduce your hand to want to feel the texture. Cashmere is the material that rewards the hand best from that exchange.
Kit & Ace just recently opened in Detroit's Midtown and is a perfect example of cashmere's alluring qualities. The store is simple and clean just like the shirts. These shirts are beautifully made and are well worth the $88 and above price point. Go check them out online and in person at 4240 Cass Ave near Canfield. (just around the corner from Shinola)

Everything Old Becomes New Again
I'm trying to not be stuck dressing like I can't grow with the times, but I'm struggling with the current rules of dressing......which is.....there are no rules! Patterns are mixed quite a bit now but not too much, but it depends upon your personal taste. Color was used to enhance in the past. Suits were conservative. Not anymore the colors pop. Suits are slim and athletic. Fashion is cyclical. What was old becomes new again. A lot of what I see now looks like the 70's all over again. Paisley is roaring back right now. Including this example.
I enjoy the look. In fact this blue suit with paisley multi colored tie and pocket square is gorgeous. I don't think the average guy can do this look by himself though. He needs a professional to help pull this off. That's maybe why the boom in men's fashion is existing. These photos should come with a disclaimer: "Don't try this without the assistance of a fashion professional!"
I would wear this just to grow out my comfort zone, but I must admit I would be stretching.
Here are more examples and looks that exhibit this:
Would you wear this? Are you moving into the "new rules"? Oh yeah I Found this @prettyflysociety....one of those professionals that will help your look. What do you think?
